The DNA Sports Recap is a weekly podcast that covers the Utes, Jazz, and the MLB. We also cover some local sports topics, like the possibility of MLB and NHL expansion to the area etc. We love to talk sports and love to engage with our listeners/viewers and get their takes on the subjects we discuss. Hey there,

I’m AJ. I’ve always been known as the guy that you can sit around and talk sports with for hours on end. I grew up playing and watching sports every chance I got. These days if there is a TV with any sport on, don’t even try talking to me, cause I’m watching. I grew up in Salt Lake City and went to high school here, I started following the Utes when people I went to high school with played at the U. It really hit home that it is a big time University with a small town feel, its OUR team. I have always loved the Utah Jazz, everyone knows about the Stockton and Malone days but I really loved the teams with Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams, it was an exciting time to be a Jazz fan.  I have 2 beautiful children and I love to spend every second I can get with them. We enjoy camping, hiking, and really just being outdoors. I love attending live sporting events and even had a chance to go to the NBA All-Star game when it was in Salt Lake City. Our show, DNA Sports Recap has been absolutely life changing, sitting and talking with Darrin about sports and life is therapeutic. Thank you guys for all your support, we look forward to the future.

As a family man with an incredible wife and two wonderful children I find more time enjoying sports from a spectators perspective.  I’ve lived in Utah most of my life.  I grew up a Jazz fan.  Just like everyone else here I played Jr Jazz every year I was eligible. I also played little league every year from age 5 on up. I’ve been a Dodgers fan since I was old enough to say “Go Dodgers”. Like most from Utah I enjoy the outdoors and and really appreciate family time at the lake. DNA Sports Recap was created to be a show that reminds us all of the time we spend talking sports with good friends and a drink in hand. AJ is a great friend & I have enjoyed every moment we spend on the show. Some of the best times happen when the camera isn’t even rolling. Future is bright and I’m looking forward to all to come.
